LA-based artist KNDRGRTN who recently dropped new track “City of Angels” – a hip hop track with a grunge rock feel. KNDRGRTN is a born artist with an obvious aesthetic that he’s cultivated through his own diverse creative influences.
Stirring critical excitement, Complex featured the song in their “Best New Music This Week” round-up alongside heavyweights like Beyonce and James Blake. Soundazed also interviewed KNDRGRTN in an in-depth feature. The track is the first of three to be released from forthcoming EP “Sleeping With My Clothes On” due out in late-July – produced entirely by Beewirks whose credits include Pusha-T, Lil Wayne, and Jeezy.
KNDRGRTN is a Los Angeles based alternative/hip-hop artist born and raised in a small city outside of Detroit. His music brings a combination of punk rock edginess in his vocals over live instruments and steady hip-hop flows over heavy 808s. KNDRGRTN grew up listening to bands such as blink-182 and Fall Out Boy, and rappers like Kanye West and Detroit’s very own Eminem. Art and music played a substantial role in his upbringing, and although he no longer resides in the state of Michigan, KNDRGRTN keeps home in mind throughout his creative process.
