FISH NARC DEBUTS NEW SONG “WHY?” FEATURING LIL TRACY,
ZUBIN AND FANTASY CAMP
ON TOUR WITH GOTHBOICLIQUE
AND MISERY CLUB

Seattle producer and songwriter fish narc debuts a new song, “Why?,” featuring Lil Tracy and Misery Club’s Zubin and Fantasy Camp—listen here.

An early member of the internet-born emo collective GothBoiClique, fish narc is currently on a sold-out European tour with members of the group. Additional headline North American dates are also set for this summer, including performances at Lollapalooza, Mad Decent Block Party, New York’s Bowery Ballroom, Los Angeles’ Lodge Room and many more. See below for a full list of dates and purchase tickets here.

fish narc is Ben Friars-Funkhouser. Initially receiving his mother’s guitar when he was 12 years old, fish narc quickly cut his teeth in the local punk scenes of the Pacific Northwest as both a vocalist and guitarist. It was his involvement in Seattle’s local DIY scenes that led fish narc to Thraxxhouse, an experimental music collective of visual artists, designers, producers, rappers and singers. Although he never had intentions of producing hip-hop, his world shifted when Lil Tracy discovered piano loops on fish narc’s computer and sang over them. The revelation led fish narc to become an integral producer in the new wave of emo. He was the sole producer of Lil Peep’s 2017 Goth Angel Sinner EP, which is currently slated for posthumous release. Since 2015, fish narc has produced for Lil Tracy, Horse Head, Mackned and Cold Hart as well as collaboratively producing Wicca Phase Springs Eternal’s Spider Web EP with Clams Casino. fish narc continues to produce for the collective with plans of releasing his own debut album in 2019.

GothBoiClique rose to prominence in 2016 with their unprecedented marriage of emo and rap; blending indie, alternative, and pop-punk samples with hip-hop stylings. Themes of vulnerability and heartbreak are omnipresent in their lyrics, allowing GothBoiClique to resonate with tens of thousands of their cult-like fans. Sitting at ten artists, GothBoiClique’s official roster includes Lil Tracy, Cold Hart, Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, Horse Head, Mackned, Yawns, fish narc, JPDreamthug, Doves and the late Lil Peep.
