Kimberly Truhler’s Fashion & Film series continues with a look at style in the 1930s. Followed at 3:30 PM by the Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers comedy TOP HAT, featuring the famous dance duo gliding across the floor cheek-to-cheek in 35mm.
After more than 20 years of studying film and costume design history, Kimberly Truhler founded GlamAmor and is an author, educator, and frequent guest speaker on the history of fashion in film. Join us for an illustrated presentation from Truhler on the intersection of fashion and film during the Art Deco era.
