The Downtown LA Art Walk is pleased to present an exciting, large-scale mural by local street artist, illustrator, graffiti writer, and fine painter Aiseborn [AISEBORN – Visual Artist], which will be installed at the LA Art Show, and completed in a live painting activation during the Opening Night Premiere on January 10th, 2018.
Sponsored in part by Arts Brookfield, the oversized piece honors the remarkable, resilient, diverse, and eclectic culture present in the City of Los Angeles. Combining figurative elements, crystalline structures, and mandala-inspired patterns, Aiseborn’s mural explores mathematical constructs, energetic mysteries, as well as the potential for purification and, ultimately, transformation.

About the Artist:
AISEBORN [“Ace-born”] is an illustrator, graffiti writer, and fine painter living and working in Los Angeles. Known for his murals which often include aerosol portraits adorned with his classic one brush stroke techniques, Aiseborn creates geometric illusions that propagate rhythms intrinsic to nature, while his mandala-inspired “framework” replicates the ingenuity of sacred geometries. Aiseborn has installed several murals throughout Greater Los Angeles – on city streets, in backyards, parking lots, gardens, schools, rooftops, brick walls, sheds, and more. He has contributed to productions at the William Grant Still Arts Center in Los Angeles, the “Life is Beautiful” Festival (2015) in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the 2015 “Manifest Justice” exhibit in Los Angeles. Aiseborn designed murals for community service events with LA Works, and was also featured at the El Segundo Museum of Art with the Getty Museum in 2014, the A+D Architecture and Design Museum in 2016, and the California African American Museum in 2016. His first solo show titled “Worth the Weight” debuted during the Fall of 2016 at the Container Yard in Downtown Los Angeles.
