Women in Entertainment will assemble luminaries from all areas of the entertainment industry, exploring a variety of topics that greatly impact women. The fourth annual event will feature a full day of inventive programming with inspiring conversations around the ideas and innovations shaping the future for women across entertainment.

9:30am-12:40pm – Morning panels including our Writers Chair With Marta Kauffman and the “She-Ra: Evolution of a Warrior Princess” panel.
12:45pm-1:20pm – Lunch break
1:25pm-5:00pm – Afternoon panels and our Firesides with Maggie Gyllenhaal and Denise Shull.
5:00pm-6:00pm – Cocktails
6pm-7:30pm – “Love, Gilda” special screening potentially followed by a panel Q&A with filmmakers.
This year’s WIE Summit will be led by a keynote from Geena Davis. Fireside Chats will feature intimate sit-downs with a number of visionary women in Hollywood in front of and behind the camera including: Maggie Gyllenhaal – star of the upcoming Netflix Original movie “The Kindergarten Teacher” debuting on October 12th; Denise Shull – one of the inspirations behind “Billion’s” Wendy Rhoades. This year will feature our first Writer’s Chair with Marta Kauffman, groundbreaking writer and executive producer of worldwide television phenomenons “Grace and Frankie,” and “Friends.” These focused talks join DreamWorks Animation Television which will present the “She-Ra: Evolution of a Warrior Princess” panel at WIE ahead of its highly anticipated Netflix Original Series release on November 16th, 2018.
Lunch and parking are included in the cost of the ticket. Attendees over the age of 21 are invited to a cocktail hour following the event as well. Guests must provide valid ID to attend the cocktail hour.
