Bastian Baker Premieres Official Music Video For “All Around Us” On Billboard + Performs Tonight with Shania Twain

NASHVILLE, TN (August, 2018) – Blue Rose Music singer/songwriter Bastian Baker premieres the official music video for “All Around Us” exclusively on Billboard (8/2). Billboard raved that Bastian has been “making audiences swoon with his lighthearted acoustic tracks and contagious smile” while out on Shania Twain’s NOW World Tour.

Produced by FlyHi Films’ Andrew Tuttle (Luke Bryan, Cole Swindell, Chris Janson), the “All Around Us” music video was filmed in Nashville at Track One and features dancers from Nashville’s own New Dialect. The video is a direct reflection of the song’s message – empowering people to look for the silver linings “all around us” and embrace positivity.

Before the Swiss superstar takes the stage at Staples Center in Los Angeles (8/3) night onboard Shania Twain’s NOW world tour, he will appear on Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family” (8/3).

The “singing sensation” (Tennessean) has been stealing the hearts of American fans and media alike since May 2018 when the Shania Twain NOW World Tour kicked off. After performing his 6-song acoustic set to often sold-out arena crowds each night, “women have been lining up to meet at his merch table,” (The Times) where Bastian happily signs autographs and takes selfies while meeting new fans from all over the country before joining Shania back onstage to duet on two songs.

Before their show at Barclays Center, Bastian stopped by the iHeartRadio offices in NYC for a hilarious segment where he discusses what, ironically, doesn’t impress him much. (WATCH)

In between tour stops, Bastian is in Nashville working on his upcoming American debut album, slated for an October release. He’s been working with a variety of songwriters and producers including GRAMMY Award-winner Jacquire King (Niall Horan, Kings of Leon, Moon Taxi) to create over 60 genre-defying songs. He premiered the official music video for his first American single, “Love On Fire” exclusively with Young Hollywood in June, who dubbed his “coolness factor a 10/10 would recommend.”

A platinum-selling recording artist in Europe, the Switzerland native decided it was time to head to the United States to work on his next album after accepting a personal invite from the reigning Queen of Country Pop, Shania Twain to join her around the globe on tour. Having spent time in Nashville with pal and captain of the Nashville Predators Roman Josi, the former third-generation professional hockey player decided to plant roots in Music City rather than LA or NYC.

Aside from his chart-topping albums, sharing the stage with the likes of Elton John, Bryan Adams and more, numerous music awards and partnerships with Audi, Omega, Harley Davidson and Hugo Boss, there was only one thing missing from Bastian Baker’s career dance card: the United States. Before becoming a platinum-selling recording artist, Baker was a third-generation professional hockey player from Switzerland. While out on the ice, he couldn’t help but think of his passion for music. After making the decision to trade in his hockey stick for a guitar, Baker sent his debut single “Lucky” to radio stations for feedback. The response was the track being placed into high rotation. Baker made his first professional appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival after an invite from its founder, Claude Nobs. Yes – “the funky Claude referenced in Deep Purple’s ‘Smoke On the Water’” (The Times). Shania Twain was in the audience, and the rest is history. Baker’s been featured as a competitor on Dancing With The Stars (France), a guest coach on The Voice (Belgium) and can now be found traveling the globe alongside Shania Twain on her current Now world tour in which she personally invited him on. With his talent, undeniable charm and knowledge of five languages, there’s no doubt he’ll be praised here in the United States as he continues his journey to worldwide superstardom.
