RISING 16-YEAR-OLD ARTIST UNVEILS “DISNEYLAND” TRACK + VIDEO

DEBUT EP P.U.K.E. TAPES VOL. 1 OUT NOW

July 17, 2020—Rising 16-year-old artist PAYDAY’s first ever official single “Disneyland” debuts today alongside a new video—watch it here. The track is from her debut EP P.U.K.E. Tapes Vol. 1, out now, with subsequent P.U.K.E. Tapes forthcoming—listen here.  The 16-year-old rapper and singer was raised by her father who worked on the railroad. PAYDAY spent time in Louisiana, Texas and Southern California, with most of her formative years spent in Seattle where she still lives. At 12, hearing that neighborhood friends were making music, she decided she could do it better herself and picked up a computer mic for $14 dollars at Walmart and began pirating beats online with an eye toward favorite artists like Tierra Whack, Tyler, The Creator and Lil Uzi Vert. Before long, she found herself part of a growing community of young artists connecting all over the world via the internet. In 2019, PAYDAY started a mini cult following with her debut single, “Super Thicc,” which has amassed more than 500K streams.
